Shutter Hardware
Shutter Hardware has historically been used both to enhance the aesthetic appeal of the shutter—blending it more seamlessly and attractively with the home—as well as to allow the shutter to function properly and to enhance its weather-resistance.
Shutter Hinges, used to mount a shutter to the home, are available in a variety of styles to uniquely accent any shutter. As many hinge styles offer different locations and manners of mounting, the look and functionality of your shutter becomes entirely customizable.
For a functioning shutter, a Shutter Bolt is used to fix the shutter in the closed position over the window during periods of harsh weather. Alternatively, to fix a shutter in the open position in favorable weather, a Shutter Dog is used. Shutter Dogs can also be used to fasten a non-working shutter to the wall while maintaining the authentic look of a functioning shutter.
